Shipping policy
On receipt of an order our fulfilment partners preparation time for most orders is 24 to 48 hours. The delivery time will depend on the selected shipping company and the country of destination. This information is shown in your cart during the purchasing process. If your given an option on delivery methods please select the one that meets your purchasing needs. You can estimate the shipping costs and delivery time in the Elite Outdoor Living shopping cart yourself. Please bear in mind that the indicated delivery time is approximate and refers to business days, excluding weekends and official public holidays that includes UK and European holidays.
On purchasing you will be given the opportunity to track your purchase shipping status. Information will be provided on request to enable you to do this.
Your shipping charges include:
- Suitable packaging (cardboard boxes, bubble wrap, inner protection, etc.)
- Transportation
- Insurance
- Customs clearance at origin (no duties payable for purchases within the European Union (EU) and the United Kingdom (UK).
- For purchases outside the EU and UK customs charges at destination or other taxes (duties) are not included. If they are applicable, then you the "consignee" who will receive the goods will be responsible for paying them, as well as all import expenses and taxes generated at the customs of destination, whether the products are actually delivered or the consignee does not accept them.
We will make every effort to deliver the orders in the shortest time possible, but you need to take into account the regulations of the country of destination for importing the ordered items as Elite Balustrade Systems Ltd. will not be held responsible for them nor the effects caused by strikes, armed conflicts or other circumstances beyond its control. Elite Balustrade Systems Ltd will not be held responsible for customs clearance delays or if the local authorities decide to confiscate any element contained in the shipment.
What should I check for when receiving a shipment from Elite Outdoor Living?
All our items leave the warehouse with the packaging in perfect condition.
The first thing you should do is check that the number of received packages matches those sent. Second, inspect each package externally with great care in order to see if there are any signs of it having been hit or mishandled, such as bumps, dents, holes, boxes in poor condition, courier seals or any sign that may lead to suspect that the goods may be damaged.
It is mandatory to leave a note and signature on the courier's delivery note, either on paper or digital support (PDA), "PACKAGE VISIBLY DAMAGED" if these signs are present.
Not signing a package as VISIBLY DAMAGED and then presenting images that show visible damage to it will mean the incident will automatically be rejected. Types of shipping services
You have 3 different types of shipping available. Please check that the service offered / chosen meets your requirements at the point of the receipt of goods delivered.
- Service without POD: this is a postal service that does not include a signature on delivery of the order.
- Service with POD: in this case, it is a service that does include signature on delivery of the order.
- Pallet Service: this is delivery via pallet. Keep in mind that you will need an accessible unloading area for this, as well as machinery and the means to receive the delivery.
